Parent Expectations
As with most sports, parent involvement is crucial for success. One of the best ways to bond as a swim family is to get involved. We will provide plenty of opportunities for parents to help throughout the season.
Volunteering
We will not be hosting any home meets this year as a new team. It is likely we will still be asked to help with open volunteer spots at away meets. This is a great opportunity to show other teams our willingness to help out and be invited back in future seasons. Please be ready and willing to help fill these holes.
Grace and Flexibility
Please remember this is our first year attempting such an endeavor. There are no other teams in Indiana with a blueprint to follow so we are paving a new path and learning some things as we go. We plan to run things as smoothly as possible but have no doubt there will be hiccups along the way. We may find that changes are necessary or try new things throughout the season. We ask for patience and grace as we all navigate this new landscape together.
